We are saddened by the passing of Rev Dr Les Brockway who went to glory on Saturday 17th February 2018. Our Synod extends deepest sympathies to his wife Teret and his family.
Rev Brockway began his ministry in Queensland where he was ordained in 1970 with the Presbyterian Church. Les and Margaret then moved to the Northern Synod where he served for seven years as the Secretary of the Board of Education for Ministry.

The National Uniting Church History Conference was held at the Pilgrim Church in Adelaide from Friday 9 June to Sunday 11 June 2017, hosted by the South Australia Uniting Church Historical Society. At the conference, the first Uniting Church National History Society was formed on Sunday 11 June.

A new shed has been erected at Casuarina Uniting Church. The shed was funded by the Northern Territory Government’s Community Benefit Fund Small Grants Program.
Members of the Casuarina congregation are very grateful to the Government for the funds.
The new shed has replaced a much smaller one and has enabled better storage of toys and equipment used by the Sonseekers Playgroup on Tuesday and Thursday mornings (and also by the Multiple Births Club who use the facilities at Casuarina on Wednesdays).
