Northern Synod

This year’s Synod meeting will be held at St Philip’s College in Alice Springs.   

The Synod opening service will be held on the evening of Friday 5 October. Synod business will be conducted on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 October, finishing at 5pm on Sunday.

This year there are some other meetings and professional development activities occurring before and after the Synod meeting. 

Participants attending the Synod meeting will also need to:
1. complete the registration form (to be available soon) so the Synod office can make travel and accommodation bookings as requested, and
2. check whether they need to be at St Philips before or after the Synod meeting, depending on which meetings and activities they are involved in.                                                                           The meetings and professional development activities are:
Monday 1 October: Anangu Area Ministry Council meeting
Tuesday 2 Oct: Anangu Area Ministry Council training day
PPNA professional development day 1
Wednesday 3 Oct: NRCC Presbytery meeting
PPNA professional development day 2
Thursday 4 Oct: NRCC Presbytery meeting continued
PPNA Presbytery meeting
Friday 5 Oct: Synod picnic day – TBA
Synod opening service in the evening
Saturday 6 Oct: Synod Business day 1
Sunday 7 Oct: Synod Business day 2
Monday 8 Oct: Ministers and Pastors Retreat day 1
