Passing of Pastor Bill Hollingsworth

Please join with people across the Uniting Church to mourn the passing and celebrate the life of one of our great leaders, Pastor Bill Hollingsworth. In your prayers give thanks for his wise and gentle leadership from the beginning of the Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress (UAICC), including his time as National Chairperson in the early 1990s. Pray for his family, for all the colleagues he served with and guided.
A letter from the national church is attached; it tells something of the story of this strong faith leader and invites us all to remember his part in shaping a church where Covenant and walking together have become core to who we are as UCA people.
