Dear members of the Northern Synod,

Moderator Elect Announcement – Rev Tony Goodluck

I wish to inform you that at the Special Synod meeting on 28^th November 2020, Rev Tony Goodluck was elected Moderator for three years starting from October 2021 until October 2024. Tony is currently the Dean of Uniting Church NRCC Students at Nungalinya College.

A video interview with Tony was shown at the Special Synod meeting and this can be found on our YouTube channel here. The interview goes into his story and God’s call for him to this role as Moderator for Northern Synod.

The Synod is looking forward to welcome Tony, Moderator-Elect to his first Synod Standing Committee meeting in February 2021. The first of many tasks that lie ahead for him.

Let us keep Tony in our prayers, as well as his wife Margie, as he embarks on serving Christ as Moderator of our Synod.
