The Palm Sunday Walk for Justice for Refugees is being held again this year, organised in conjunction with the NT Council of Churches, DASSAN and the Salvos.
The walk will commence at the Nightcliff Pool at 5pm, heading towards the jetty and stopping at the headland, where a community picnic will be held (bring a picnic!), with welcome to country, three speakers, music and a beautiful sunset.
It has been requested that participants bring palms which will be used in an art installation. We also suggest banners saying which church or community organisation you are from.
Rev Basil Schild, our Social Justice Convenor, has done a wonderful job of helping facilitate the organisation of this important event.
