Northern Synod

Rev Brockway has asked that his old friends in the Northern Synod and Northern Regional Council of Congress be advised of Margaret’s passing. His message reads:

Today, Friday 17 January at 11.30 am God called Margaret Brockway to come home into his eternal presence. She died peacefully after two weeks of not eating and drinking. No more suffering! Fourteen and two-thirds years with Alzheimer’s disease, including seven years and two months in nursing homes!

We will celebrate her life at her funeral service on Wednesday afternoon 22 January at Mt Pleasant Uniting Church in Perth. Rev Trevor Waters, the local minister, will lead the service, Rev Sealin Garlett will give the comforting message, and Les, Matthew and Neralie will tell the story of Margaret’s life. And other people can share.
