Our Generation – a ground breaking documentary on Aboriginal rights was launched at the Darwin Deckchair Theatre on 16 August 2010. “A very important film that everyone must see .. it will change your life” said John Butler. Rev Dr Djiniyini Gondarra OAM speaks passionately in this film of the history of dispossession and the current Northern Territory Emergency Response (the ‘Intervention’) which continues to treat Indigenous people as objects and not subjects, citizens of Austrlaia and the First Australians.
