NT Intervention

In 2007 the Federal Government of Australia enacted the Northern Territory Emergency Response Act 2007. This Act has had a significant impact on the lives of Indigenous people living in the Territory. Below are a number of submissions and responses prepared by the Northern Synod over the past four years on this issue. Also included is a submission prepared by the Northern Territory Council of Social Services to the Inquiry into the expansion of the Income Management System.
