Northern Synod

The Uniting Church in Australia’s National Christian Youth Convention was held in North Parramatta from the 7-10th January 2014. The theme for this year’s NCYC, hosted by Parramatta-Nepean Presbytery, was Yurora – a Dharug word from the Burrumattagal peoples, which means passionate. Nearly a thousand young people from across the life of the Church attended Yurora (including 85 from the Northern Synod) for a week of worship, music and workshops.
